The vice president for science and technology affairs expressed: since the beginning of the government of prude and hope, there has been an improvement in the pace of social stream of startups in the country.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, expressed on the ceremony of 19^th festival of appreciating the top researchers and technologists of the country held in the presence of the first vice president in Iran International Conference Center: the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs has achieved proper results in cooperation with the ministry of science, research, and technology regarding the enhancement of research in the country.

He continued: a new path has been opened to the field of research and technology during the government of prude and hope, according to which research and technology are correlated with economy.

According to the president of the national elites foundation, the government has aimed to strengthen research in this field and turn it into a part of economy. 

Sattari added: today, there is an accelerated pace in the startup stream of the country with the help of young researchers. In this regard, our youth has been turned into the most effective economic activists.

He also asserted: currently, there are more than three thousand active knowledge-based companies in Iran, export level of which and the amount of loans obtained from the banking network have significantly increased.

The vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out the necessity of sympathy and cooperation between all organizations to increase the penetration coefficient of the youth in the economy of the country, asserting: if universities and research institutes are linked to the country"s economy, we will see good things and significant growth in the country"s economy.

On the 19^th festival of appreciation of the top technologists and researchers of the country in the presence of the first vice president, the vice president for science and technology affairs, minister of science, research and technology, and the ministry of health, treatment and medical education, 18 top researchers and six top technologists as well as five governors supporting research and technology in the country were appreciated.

The 19^th festival of appreciation of the top technologists and researchers of the country, which is held every year simultaneously with the week of research, will be December 24^th-27^th, 2018 held this year during with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and along with the sixth exhibition of Iranian laboratory equipment and materials and the second national, cultural, and art festival of Made in Iran.
