According to the Communication and Information Center in the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the second International Petrochem Conference and Exhibition began this evening, January 12, 2025, with the presence of Hossein Afshin, Vice President of Science, Ali Agha Mohammadi, Economic Advisor to the Leader of the Revolution, Mohammad Shariatmadari, CEO of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group, and activists from the petrochemical industry, knowledge-based and technology companies, with the slogan of supporting knowledge-based production in the industry, focusing on the production leap in petrochemicals, refining and petrol refining.

More than 4,000 representatives from the petrochemical industry are present in 142 booths at this exhibition. Among them, 80 knowledge-based companies are presenting their technological capabilities.

In addition to the country's petrochemical industries, knowledge-based and technological companies, investors and financial institutions, and the regulatory and governance sector are present at this year's Iran Petrochem, providing a platform for interaction between different sectors of the petrochemical industry, with technological and innovative capabilities, financing activists for technological plans and projects, and companies active in this field.

On the sidelines of this event, in addition to showcasing domestic capabilities and introducing innovative products, specialized panels will be held with the presence of experts and activists in this field. The topics of these panels will include such things as innovation in the petrochemical industry, the development of knowledge-based technologies, and examining supply chain challenges and integrated processes.

The Iran Petrochem 2025 exhibition, with the presence of knowledge-based and technology companies, petrochemical industries, representatives of this industry, and investment and financial institutions, is being held at the permanent site of the Kish Island International Exhibitions from today until January 14, and interested parties can visit the achievements presented at this international event from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
