The first technology and entrepreneurship event of “Search and Rescue” will be held by the Red Crescent Society and with the support of the knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the goal of this event is promoting technology development in the field of search and rescue. In addition, an opportunity will be created for the audience to compete in an operational and scientific competition and present their administrative plans and ideas. However, culture-building, informing, prognosis and empowerment and recovery technologies are the topics of the first event of “technology and entrepreneurship idea-making in the field of search and rescue and services of volunteers”.

In this event, all audiences can register in the form of groups. In addition, participants should upload their own ideas and designs on the relevant website based on specific templates. Participants can use visual, audio and video files to explain their ideas and projects. After that, the stage of evaluation of ideas and technologies will be initiated and 30 projects that receive the highest scores will move on to the next stage. Afterwards, each selected idea or technology owner has one day to finalize his idea or project and form its structures. From this stage onward, all activities are carried out in groups. Each team must attempt to reach a desirable result with the most appropriate individuals.

In addition, teams will be trained by experienced instructors in the field of entrepreneurship and search and rescue and will have a day to complete their projects. After this phase, all teams will be prepared to present their work. At the end, the projects and technologies presented will be evaluated by judges and three top teams will be selected. However, in addition to first-third winners, five teams of students will be awarded.

Registration deadline of the event is April 25^th, 2019. After that, the primary evaluation of ideas will continue to April 29^th, 2019. Furthermore, the event will be held May 2^nd-4^th, 2019.
