The marine working group of the national space and advanced transportation administration prepared the atlas of marine capacity and capability of coastal provinces, aiming at increasing synergy among players of marine industry.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, marine working group of the national space and advanced transportation administration prepared the atlas of marine capacity and capability of coastal provinces with the goals of increasing synergy among active units in the marine field and evaluating the problems and barriers to the development of marine industries in coastal provinces. This atlas is provided after holding specialized meetings in seven coastal provinces by the marine working group of the national space and advanced transportation administration.

These meetings were held with the cooperation of the governorate, offices and marine institutions and support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.

In this regard, the most important suggestions for development of activities of the working group were reported to be preparing the atlas of marine abilities and capacities of each province, participation in demand-oriented technological projects of each province, forming the working group of provincial marine technologies and industries, and properly introducing the science and technology capacities in the marine field to evaluate the support capacities of the Vice-Presidency for active companies in each province.
