The Encyclopedia of traditional medicine of pharmacology (vocabulary) is a book unveiled in the special section of the fourth national exhibition of medical plants, natural products, and Iranian medicine (traditional). Seyed Mohammad Ali Seyed Nazari, the writer of this book, expressed that the book has five different sections, expressing: plant, fungi, animal and mine vocabularies are presented in different sections of the book, in which the current ambiguities in this field have been eliminated by extensive research and have been confirmed by prominent professors. In this work, each vocabulary has its own specific ID and there are specific information about each one.

He also affirmed: the ID of each vocabulary is initiated with its popular name, followed by relevant pictures. After each picture, different names of the item (Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, English, and scientific name). The study of singular nature, similarity, location, harm, effective materials, methods for recognizing the principle and counterfeit, and the issues and measures are also some of the issues that have been addressed. In addition, the names of all vocabs and their derivatives in Persian, Arabic and Urdu are also listed in a list of English and scientific names.

Seyed Nazari also mentioned: works such as cabinet medicine, the crown of vocabulary, and Bustanul Mufradat exist in this area but are all in Urdu with no pictures. Farsi books of this field are also hard to understand due to lack of containing images. In addition, they are not as extensive as Urdu books. Therefore, publication of this book is in line with reducing the shortcomings in this area.

The fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and Iranian medicine (traditional) will be held November 11^th-14^th 2018 in Musala of Tehran by the efforts of the medicinal plants and traditional medicine sciences and technologies development headquarter.
