According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Zahra Heydari Davijani, the manager of the second student section of festival of medical plants, expressed: the first round of this section was held in the third festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products, and Iranian medicine. This year, we were in contact with students, which increasing the welcoming of this part of the festival.

She continued: more than one thousand students announced their preparedness in the first round of the event despite the short registration period. However, 100 people in 175 projects were approved. This year and in the second round of the event, we have extended this section with the cooperation of the ministry of education, which has led to the announcement of more than 3600 students with more than one thousand projects. Eventually, 400 students with 175 projects were approved.

Heydari mentioned that the students attending this round of the festival come from various provinces of the country. In this regard, she explained: we have participants from Sistan and Baluchestan, Bandar Abbas, Kerman, Yazd and other cities and provinces.
She expressed: since the festival and exhibition of medical plants is a complete event and has various sections, the student festival of medical plants and Iranian medicine is held at the heart of this large festival. In addition, this festival can lead to extensive programs in the future, such as forming specialized student research centers, specialized student campaigns in this area, growth house and other beneficial activities.

The fourth national festival and exhibition of medical plants, natural products and Iranian medicine (traditional) will be held November 11^th-14^th 2018 in Musala of Tehran by the efforts of the medicinal plants and traditional medicine sciences and technologies development headquarter.
