According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Parviz Karami- member of the policy making council and president of the culture making and propagation committee of the 5^th international innovation and technology exhibition (INOTEX 2016) declared about this event: In the vein of introducing knowledge-based companies and products and developing knowledge-based export and also exchanging technology and high-tech, the vice presidency for science affairs hold some exhibitions nationally and internationally in which Iranian knowledge-based companies find opportunity to supply their products in a professional ambient. It is tried in these exhibitions that Iranian knowledge-based companies shine alongside with the products of other countries.

Consultant of the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs continued: But a notion showed off in INOTEX 2016 was that in the 5^th international innovation and technology exhibition held with the effort of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology and by the Pardis Technology Park, foreign guests showed more enthusiasm for communicating with Iran and Iranian companies.

Parviz Karami mentioned the presence of foreign companies and technologists in this event and said: 90 domestic knowledge-based companies and institutes  and 83 foreign institutes form 14 countries were present in this exhibition and some countries such as Russia, Greece and Belarus had set up private pavilion.

He added: Moreover, a pavilion was set up with presence of 80 knowledge-based companies from South Korea which was started up with presence of Dr. Soorena Sattari- presidency vice president for science and technology affairs. The considerable notion is that these companies have shown since the beginning of the exhibition that they have a long-term and serious look toward Iran.

Parviz Karami mentioned that Iranian pavilions were active with other countries together and all tried to have more communication in the 5^th INOTEX and expressed: In addition to creating a proper communicative ambient prepared in this exhibition among Iranian and foreign technologists, representatives of foreign companies including French, Italian, German, Russian and Korean were present in professional meetings of the margin of the exhibition and exchanged their experiences with Iranian experts. As a result, appropriate condition for introducing and transferring modern technologies was prepared with INOTEX 2016.

He also expressed about setting up professional meetings and workshops in the margin of INOTEX 2016: At the international meeting of innovation networking more than 12 foreign professors and experts alongside Iranian experts discussed related topics in 2 days and in 10 professional panels that a part of this event’s goals that is technology transfer and exchange among Iranian and foreign technologists was realized. Actually, this attempt was a base for preparing suitable opportunity for entire activists in technology and innovation in arena of exchanging practical experiences in technology, innovation and knowledge-based companies.

Parviz Karami continued: Meetings with presence of Iranian entrepreneurs and experts, the international educating workshop with participation of research and technology center of the non-aligned movement (NAM), some professional meetings in different fields of technology with other countries and 6 educating workshops were other programs of this event in which the issue of technological business was analyzed well.

The 5^th international innovation and technology exhibition (INOTEX 2016) had been started on May 22^nd in Tehran international exhibition with the efforts of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs and by the Pardis Technology Park of the vice presidency for science affairs and was ended on May 25^th, 2016.
