The third national festival of stem cells and regenerative medicine is started on November 23^rd 2018 by holding specialized workshops in this field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the third national festival of stem cells and regenerative medicine is started by holding 18 educational workshops in specialized topics of the field and topics required for the development of this area.

Among the topics of the workshop we can refer to the article writing workshop, which will be held by professor Mark Las, an editor of valid medical journals, workshop on industrialization of cell products with the aim of cell therapy, educational workshop on patent registration, introduction of standards, regulations and main rules necessary for production and preparation of cell and tissue engineering products. These workshops will continue until November 27^th 2018.

The three workshops held on the first day of the third stem cells and regenerative medicine festival include “genome editing with CRISPR Cas9”, “pyrosequencing principles and applications”, and “industrialization educational course on production of cell therapy products”.

It is noteworthy that the third festival of stem cells and regenerative medicine will be initiated on November 27^th 2018 in Iran International Conference Center.

This congress includes various sections, such as specialized exhibition in the presence of knowledge-based companies, technomart, symposium of graft versus host disease (GvHD), and a startup event. In addition, the sections of university and school students, association of ideas and innovation, and national prize are among other parts of the event.

The third national festival of stem cells and regenerative medicine will be held in the presence of prominent doctors, researchers, and scientists of the world in various fields, including medicine, biology, engineering, and investment in the health sector, covering different topics such as border knowledge and clinical and applied research.

In addition to Iranian researchers of the country, some of the non-resident Iranians and researchers from various countries of the world, including France, Singapore, Swiss, Switzerland, Netherlands, England, the United States, Spain, Poland, Russia, Irelands, Australia, and Japan, will attend the event.

Association of Ideas and Innovation

One of the goals of science and technology officials and policy-makers of the country is encouraging non-resident Iranian scientists, technologists and students to return to their country by laying the proper foundation for exchange of scientific activities, technology transfer and establishment of a company inside the country.

Exhibition

Another part of this festival is an exhibition, which will be held in the presence of specialized technological and knowledge-based companies of the field.
