The chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration stated: airplanes are an international products and must be manufactured based on global technical knowledge.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, the chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration, expressed about manufacturing airplanes with the help of domestic experts: airplanes are international products and must be produced based on global technical knowledge. If the aerospace industry were fully supported in the past, we would have reached great levels in this area.

He continued: in order to construct airplanes, we had to start from simpler two-passenger airplanes with propeller engines. After that, we entered the area of design and construction of fighter aircrafts and decided to localize an airplane that is produced at a high range in the world.

According to Manteghi, if all pieces of airplanes are produced domestically but there is no management ability, we will still rely on the foreign abilities in the most important parts. However, we initiated our work from the most important part so that great enhancements could be achieved in the aerial industry.
