According to the news headquarter of the second national, cultural, and art festival of “Made in Iran”, Pirouz Hanachi, mayor of Tehran, expressed on the closing ceremony of the second national, cultural, and art festival of “Made in Iran”: holding this opportunity led to the formation of a chance to turn threats into opportunities in the current situation of Iran that involves sanctions against the country by its enemies.
The mayor of Tehran continued: creating valuable opportunities from the most difficult barriers is the most important experience that can be gained. Those who claim a global power for themselves used this point in the past. After the victory of Islamic revolution of Iran, our enemies used the lack of internal unity of the country to initiate the imposed ward.
According to Hanachi, the national festival of “Made in Iran” has prioritized re-focusing on Iranian businesses and products. In this regard, he asserted: after the Islamic revolution and with the leadership of Imam Khomeini, various threats against the country were turned into opportunities. Regardless of violence faced during war, the Iran-Iraq war increased the self-confidence of our youth and led Iran to stand on its feet, in a way that today, no one can attack Iran.
The mayor of Tehran also claimed: in today’s condition of Iran, we cannot do much in a short period. However, threats can be turned into an opportunity and having an economic view can provide the possibility of development of support of domestic products, knowledge-based companies and startups. This opportunity created must be maximally used by relying on our domestic power.
The Selected Works of “Made in Iran” on Tehran Billboards
According Hanachi, a space is created by considering the Iranian products so that we could pass the difficulties through relying on domestic abilities and using our capacities. In addition, Hanachi announced the displaying of top works of the festival on Tehran billboards with coordination with beautification organization and the general director of the festival.
The second national, cultural and art festival of “Made in Iran” will be held December 25th-29th, 2018 with the goals of mainstreaming and content production for cyberspace related to the cycle of commercialization, entrepreneurship and knowledge-based economy, support of Iranian-made knowledge-based products and services, organizing excessive import and valuating high-quality Iranian products and services, and helping the branding of high-quality Iranian products. It should be noted that various sections of the festival include literature, visual arts, audiovisual economy, digital media and idea market and student section, which will be carried out by the efforts of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter and with the help of Parviz Karami, secretary of the mentioned headquarter. The closing ceremony was held December 29th 2018 in Vahdat Hall.
