According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, attended the council meeting of Markazi Province on knowledge-based economy and booming production.

Sattari explained one of the most important components of progress, stating: the key subject that organizes the province’s economy is sympathy among all government organizations, students, and universities.

Necessity of Change of Attitude of Traditional Companies

Sattari pointed out the necessity of change of attitude of traditional companies, expressing: today, we witness important evolutions in attitude of large industrial corporations. It is notable that large companies must turn to innovation to survive in the economy.

The president of national elites foundation emphasized the support of creative youth by the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, affirming: today, various organizations have taken important steps toward knowledge-based economy. For instance, the website of Islamic Azad University is extraordinary, and we are prepared to pay any cost for its establishment.

Signing a Memorandum of Understanding to Develop the Innovation Ecosystem

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the vice president for science and technology affairs and the governorate of Markazi Province. Signed by Sorena Sattari and Ali Aghazadeh, the agreement follows the development of ecosystem of innovation and technology to improve knowledge-based companies, promote and build the culture of knowledge-based as one of the most important components of economy of resistance and mainstreaming and exploiting the developmental effects and value added produced by establishment of knowledge-based companies and startups in line with the recreation of abandoned urban-industrial spaces.

Knowledge-based Companies and Accelerators Will Make a Bright Future

Sorena Sattari responded to questions of journalists during the visit of an automobile manufacturing car before attending the council meeting of the province.

Pointing out that Arak Automobile Manufacturing Company is transitioning from a traditional system toward the production of knowledge-based products, Sattari asserted: accelerators and startups that come from the heart of this organization will definitely make a bright future.

Investment on Creative Ideas of the Youth and Startups

Sattari considered the performance of knowledge-based companies extraordinary, stating: more than 4500 knowledge-based companies exist in Iran, which have made great phenomena in the country. The fact that large organizations, such as automobile factories, have considered investment on creative ideas of the youth and startups is an important phenomenon that shows the shift of attitude toward the formation of an innovation and technology ecosystem. This organization has realized that high value added cannot be produced by former products.

A Contract Is Concluded on Establishment of the First Innovation Factory in Arak

Establishment of Aftab Innovation Accelerator (SHENAVA) and signing a contract to create an innovation factory in Markazi province next to machinery industries of Arak as one of the most important industries and the sign of industrial development and progress have led to improvements in the province and automobile industry to transit from montage industry to innovative industry.
