The deputy of policy-making and development headquarter emphasized the necessity of using the potential of new ecosystems based on knowledge and technology in prioritized fields of the country on the first event of “Nowruz of Innovation”.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mahdi Eliasi, the deputy of policy-making and development headquarter, on the panel of innovation policy on the first event of “Nowruz of Innovation”, expressed issues and priorities such as water crisis, air pollution, environmental pollutions, and issues discussed in the field of health and elderlies as the most important issues that can be dealt with in the near future. In this regard, he suggested provision of the conditions in a way that the startup ecosystem can enter the prioritized field.

He mentioned that dealing with these issues as the drivers of innovation and the development of problem-oriented technologies can be a step toward using the current capacities in line with responding to the society’s needs. If we want to prevent change and innovative decisions, we cannot expect to create a suitable environment for new players in various business fields.

He also regarded the role of society as the main audience of the area of science, technology, and innovation to be very important, expressing that the scientific and demanding society can express the areas that need prioritization in the fields of policies and programs for development of using science and technology. We cannot neglect the important role of the specialized society and the public in demanding accurate policies in this field and using science and technology in the community.

The first event of “Nowruz of Innovation” was held with the topic of diversification of ecosystem of innovation and startup and along with the closing ceremony of the 6^th national prize of technology and innovation management with the support of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter and digital economy and automation technologies development headquarter at the location of conferences of Shahid Ghandi of ministry of information and communication.
