Inauguration of the First Phase of Localizing Iran Aerial Navigation’s Infrastructures
According to the public relations and information center of the presidency vice presidency for science and technology affairs, Soorena Sattari, presidency vice president for science and technology affairs, said at the inauguration ceremony of the first phase of localizing Iran aerial navigation’s infrastructures in which some memorandums were signed on aerial technologies before the vice president for science and technology affairs: Iran wasn’t of acceptable aerospace knowledge before the revolution but we have managed to achieve impressive development in this field by Iranian capable youth and experts.
He added: Executing the aerial navigation’s infrastructures localization project requires high risk-taking. Fortunately, managers of the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company have this spirit with which we witness important changes and events in the field of localizing aerial technologies in the country.
According to Sattari, if aerial technologies are not localized, capabilities of Iranian youth cannot be utilized and a great society of graduates cannot be injected to this industry.
He carried on: Signing various contracts in this field is good but both parties of the contract must abide by their promises and responsibilities. Otherwise, these contracts are fruitless.
The presidency vice president for science and technology affairs continued: The Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company have abided its promises in today’s memorandum and has accepted the technology localization’s risks but the other party should be a knowledge-based company to undertake its responsibilities and guarantees doing the promises.
He also asserted: The vice presidency for science and technology affairs promises to accept financial and legal risks of memorandums signed here.
Head of the National Elites Foundation stated: The aerial industry has been improved in military significantly and acceptably which owes this progress to Iranian youth’s and managers’ risk-taking.
He believes that if the other party of the contract signed with the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company was a knowledge-based company, better results would be obtained and attempts would not remain useless.
Contracts of designing, manufacturing and delivering the first visual aids to navigation system (Runway’s light), designing and manufacturing five Air Traffic Control Tower of mobile flight, designing and manufacturing the first sample of DME aids to navigation system (1000 watt) with Civil standards, and designing and manufacturing the first Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR) with the value of 1600 billion rials were signed in this ceremony with presence of the presidency vice president for science and technology affairs.
