According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the vice president for science and technology affairs was welcomed by Fereydoun Hemati, the governor of Hormozgan, and Hamidreza Momeni, the CEO of Qeshm Free Zone and local authorities of Qeshm Island.

Algae Biotechnology of Persian Gulf, which produces knowledge-based products from algae in Dustaku village of Qeshm, was the first place to host Sattari and his delegation.

After that, the vice president for science and technology affairs traveled to Guran and visited a launch-manufacturing workshop to recognize the knowledge-based capacities of the center.

Kandaloo was the other destination of the president of the national elites foundation, who along with his delegation learned about the abilities of ship-making company and talked with the activists of the company.

Knowledge-based Meeting and Conversation

The technological units based in Qeshm science and technology park showcased their achievements and abilities to the vice president for science and technology affairs and explained their needs.

In addition, Sattari visited the products of knowledge-based companies based in Toola Industrial Town and growth center of advanced technologies of Qeshm. Activists of the Qeshm system, a company that designs and builds comprehensive sampling systems, has been experimenting for the first time in designing and manufacturing Iranian analyzers, and explained their work to Sattari. Designing and producing a paper heating system is the core work of the “SATRAP industry of Qeshm”, which showed its abilities and needs to the vice president for science and technology affairs.

Technology Tower of Qeshm Will Be Inaugurated

The vice president for science and technology affairs inaugurated the technology town of the island during this one-day travel. Along with the growth center of the island, this tower is the place for the presence and activities of technology cores of the province.

In the final part of the travel, Sattari attended the specialized meeting of investment capacities in Qeshm Island. The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter expressed the necessity of paying attention to the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship during the meeting attended by a number of commercial managers and representatives of companies and investors.
