The First Experimental Branch of Pardis Technology Park Is Inaugurated

 

Head of the Pardis Technology Park announced the inauguration of the first experimental branch of Pardis Technology Park in the “innovation factory”.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Mahdi Safarinia, head of Pardis Technology Park, visited the Azadi Innovation Factory. During the visit of Kara Accelerator, he stated: the Azadi Innovation Factory is the first branch of Pardis Technology Park, which has initiated its activities experimentally.

Head of Pardis Technology Park mentioned the area of this factory (approximately 18 thousand square meters) created with the cooperation of the private sector, reminding: according to the plan, it is aimed to turn each of the 10 industrial sheds into an accelerator or innovation center by companies of the private sector, which is a good opportunity for startup teams to benefit from the facilities of these accelerators and innovation centers.

He expressed: one of the major attractiveness of Azadi Innovation Factory is quick and easy access to various acceleration programs, taking advantage of laboratory services, using monitoring services, applying legal benefits of Pardis Technology Park for startups, easy and quick access to public transportation of Tehran (subway and BRT), attending various events, networking and other specialized services of businesses.

He emphasized that the area of the innovation factory is a proper space for activities of startups. In this regard, he continued: it is predicted that more than 1300 individuals and 15 companies will work in the incubator of the factory in the next five years.

Safarinia emphasized: startup teams and accelerators that are in this factory can benefit from the advantages of Pardis Technology Park after being established. However, these accelerators are generally useful in areas of work space and education supply, counseling and mentorship, supply of primary assets and attraction of investment for teams.

“Kara” is the first innovation accelerator in the area of e-health, which is established by the knowledge-based company of CinnaGen and is established in Azadi Innovation Factory. More than 14 technological teams are based in this accelerator, working in business startup areas of e-health. These technological teams consist of academic graduates and lay the foundation for the establishment of a minimum of 25 teams and acceleration of these teams until the stage of commercialization and entering into the market.
