The sixth nanotechnology economy forum will be held November 20^th-21^st, 2018 with the title of “Search for the Polar Star in the Innovation Sky”. According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the annual gathering of nanotechnology economy forum is the most important management event for activists of the innovation space in the nano area. This forum has been held since 2012 by the efforts of the nanotechnology development headquarter.

By focusing on knowledge-based businesses, this forum has laid the foundation for exchange of experiences in the area of technology and innovation and consultation on the challenges and barriers to the development of this field, especially in the nanotechnology area. The most important goals of this forum include production and distribution of applicable contents in the area of business and innovation, documenting and transferring tangible development experiences, and facilitation of cooperation and interactions among the players of nanotechnology ecosystem based on the open innovation concept in the country.

After successful holding of the fifth round of the event in August 2017, the sixth round of this forum will be held November 20^th-21^st, 2018 with the title of “Search for the Polar Star in the Innovation Sky”. The polar star has always had a steady position in the sky due to being located along the axis of the earth. Therefore, it has been considered as one of the most important navigation and path selection tools from a long time ago.
