With the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs and due to an agreement with Iran Insurance Co., knowledge-based companies can benefit from four support packages provided on commercial insurances.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Seyed Mohammad Sahebkar, head of the center for knowledge-based institutes and companies, signed an agreement with the Vice-Presidency as the representative of Iran Insurance Co. to reduce the risk of these activities. According to this agreement, the mentioned company will provide facilities and discounts to knowledge-based companies in the area of commercial insurances.

The secretary of the working group for evaluation of knowledge-based companies added: this agreement will be realized in four areas of fire insurance, liability insurance, individual insurance and engineering insurance for failure of machineries (electronic and mechanical equipment).

The faculty member of technology research center talked about the use of these insurance services by knowledge-based companies, expressing: knowledge-based companies must first refer to the selected agencies of Iran Insurance Co., list of which is present on the knowledge-based system, and deliver their request on receiving the relevant insurances.

He continued: after determining the type of insurance by agencies, companies can refer to bizservices.ir and register their request on the section of insurance supports. Finally and after evaluation and confirmation, an introduction letter will be issued for the companies by the brokerage of the Vice-Presidency to the agency of Iran Insurance Co.

In addition, they must learn about the conditions of insurance letters and list of the agencies of Iran Insurance Co. prior to acting on their request.
