This morning, the vice president for science and technology affairs visited the knowledge-based companies based in the Iranian Scientific and Industrial Research Organization on the occasion of week of research.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, accompanied with Alireza Asouri, the head of the Iranian Scientific and Industrial Research Organization, visited the achievements of some of the knowledge-based companies based in this center working in various fields, including the design and production of portable laser camera system, design and manufacturing of high-tech compressor pieces for oil and gas industries, production of solenoid valves based on air standards, and the production of radio vhf radars.

The Iranian Scientific and Industrial Research Organization has been established with the goal of supporting the formation of technology (research and development) at the national level. To this end, it has dedicated extensive efforts to providing the foundation for growth of innovation and creativity and using research results and commercializing technologies obtained from research in a competitive environment through supporting and providing facilities (scientific, technical, financial, legal, administrative, and cultural) and providing the necessary facilities for effective interactions between technology supply and demand.

Among the responsibilities of this center, we can refer to supporting the completion of the research cycle to production in order to provide the ground for the effective use of research results, supporting the documentation, absorption, and dissemination of the achievements of technology, supporting and supporting inventors, innovators, entrepreneur researchers , enterprises and entrepreneurship companies and their activities in order to fulfill the priorities of technology development, supporting the development and expansion of technical-engineering services, consulting and technology management and financially supporting and encouraging the private sector in the activities of creating technology.
