The executive operations for constructing the brain center of the country are initiated in Book Garden of Tehran in the presence of Kamal Kharazi, advisor to the vice president for science and technology affairs in the field of cognitive sciences.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Kamal Kharazi expressed about the initiation of building this center: the launch of the center has educational benefits in the field of the brain for children, adolescents and even adults. In this center, children are introduced to the brain and the functions of the mind.

According to Kharazi, this center will be inaugurated with a total cost of one billion and 200 million tomans with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, and the municipality of Tehran along with the week of brain awareness.

According to this report, the brain center encompasses five major sections, including a main section, which involves the showcasing of placing of a large brain. In another part of the center, brains are assessed in terms of cells and molecules. Different brain is another part of the center, in which various parts of the brain are exhibited to show which parts of the brain are disturbed by different damages, or what is the structure of brain at various ages.

Cognition section is another part of the center that deals with issues related to cognitive sciences, such as memory and thinking. Future brains is also another part of the center.

In this center, audiences at any age can learn about brain. This knowledge is practical and educational, and they can work with various devices and tools. There is no similar center in the country and even the Middle East, and only one or two centers with similar characteristics have been established in Asia. In addition, this center competes with other brain centers of the world in terms of architecture, building technique and idea-making.
