The call for Nour Student Competition, Commemoration of Ibn al-Razzaz al-Jazari, was finished with the cooperation of more than five thousand students from seven countries of the world and production and sending one thousand and 700 short movies. During the ceremony, the winners were awarded.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, in this round of the competition, students had nine months to send their scientific tests and works to the secretariat of the competition until September 22^nd, 2018. During this period, 5 thousand and 112 students registered in the form of two thousand and 183 groups, and one thousand and 733 movies were sent to the secretariat.

After the deadline, the received works were evaluated by the judging panel encompassing experienced instructors and teachers of various student units. 

This round of Nour Student Competition witness the considerable participation of students of the Islamic world from Iraq, Tanzania, Tunisia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey and Iran. At the end of the assessment, the names of the selected individuals will be announced on the website of the event.

The Mustafa Prize, the high sign of science and technology in the Islamic world, is given to the top researcher and scientists of the Islamic world every two years. The Mustafa Prize recognizes, introduces and awards the top science and technology works in the Islamic world, promoting science learning and research in Islamic societies. According to the executive document of the Mustafa Prize, Sorena Sattari (the vice president for science and technology affairs) and Mahdi Safarinia (president of the Pardis Technology Park) are the head and secretary of policy-making council, respectively.
