One of the missions and goals of the biotechnology development headquarter is using new technologies in this field.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the biotechnology development headquarter has aimed to hold the “special meeting of biotechnology and innovative strategies” with the goal of creating a link between new technologies and biotechnology.

The main topics of this meeting include biotechnology and health, the necessity of using new technologies, genetic engineering and related products, the role of biotechnology in lifestyle improvement, bio-safety laws in Iran and the world, providing plans on division of labor by the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, and introduction of biotechnology development support programs.

This meeting will be held December 17^th 2018 by the biotechnology development headquarter.
