In line with holding the fourth educational course of comprehensive education of IoT entitled “IoTWAY”, the instructors of this field emphasized the importance of IoT in the country, introducing it as one of the largest interdisciplinary sciences.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the educational courses of comprehensive education of IoT IoT entitled “IoTWAY” are held seasonally in Tehran and have been held in two other provinces this year. The fourth educational course of comprehensive education of IoT is held in line with three previous courses by the support of the digital economy and automation technologies development headquarter and with the cooperation of SATBA organization (ministry of energy) at the location of energy research center. The first day of the course was carried out in eight hours in the form of five classes with various titles and in the presence of prominent professors of this field.

According to this report, Mohammad Gheysari, the executive secretary of the information research center, taught the primary concepts, history, architecture and chain of value of IoT and its economy, expressing: the technology of IoT has been able to provide a joint cooperation framework for the majority of engineering fields, including electronics, electricity, telecommunications, hardware, software, network, artificial intelligence, and security. In other words, it could be claimed that IoT is one of the largest interdisciplinary sciences in the world.

The executive secretary of the internet research center expressed about the level of enhancement in the field of IoT in the country: the biggest weakness of this field in Iran is the lack of ecosystems and the value chain on the Internet of objects. He added: the world"s largest investment in the world of objects in the industrial, smart home and energy sectors.

On the second part of the event, the instructors in this field have different subjects such as hardware, sensors and gadgets of the IoT, considerations of choosing hardware for the IoT, skills required for the design and development of the IoT, the need to know the Internet hardware objects for the public, the companies that build the IoT tools, and hardware of the IoT.

On the third part of the event, the concepts of IoT telecommunications and communications were covered, where Ahmadi, the instructor of this section, explained about topics such as IoT communications, commercial aspects of IoT, types of services required in the field of IoT, ecosystem of IoT, types of communication technologies in IoT, and exploitation current of IoT, and answered the questions of the audiences.

In the fourth section, Tayanloo explained about the platform of IoT and applicable concepts of platform in IoT, concept of platform, classification of platform in terms of performance, highly applied platforms, and comparison of open-content platforms of IoT.

In the final section, the subject of using artificial intelligence in IoT was covered, where Jalili explained about the uses of artificial intelligence in IoT, machine learning and tools, and machine learning implementation scenario. In the end, the questions of the audiences were answered. This course was held in the presence of experts, students, and activists of the field and journalists in the area of information technology.
