According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Alireza Daliri, the deputy for management development and resources, expressed about the technological role of blockchain and its impact: the blockchain technology is a revolution in the modern technological infrastructure and is interpreted as a distributed ledger technology (DLT) and all transactions and events implemented and recorded by its constituting components in a mutual form.

He reminded: this technology is rapidly growing among various economic sections and industries, especially in the monetary and banking industry, as the infrastructure of the future of financial services.

Regulation of Blockchain in Iran

In line with the regulation of blockchain in Iran, Daliri stated: the pace of technology growth has always been faster than legislation and legal assignment in all countries. This has led countries to experience a loss due to delay in the evaluation and determining of legal and unit responsibilities of a phenomenon. Therefore, it is necessary to create requirements and frameworks for blockchain technology and its prominent product, meaning RAMs and financial technologies.

Role of Vice-Presidency in the Field of Blockchain of the Country

According to the deputy for management development and resources, concluding a memorandum of understanding with the central bank with emphasis on the country"s money and banking market, communicating with blockaders and cryptocurrency activists, and setting up accelerators with the accelerated approach of blockchain business in the country"s priority areas as well as the development of businesses of cryptocurrencies in their priority programs are carried out to develop and improve the ecosystem of blockchain and cryptocurrency.

He explained about other measures taken by the Vice-Presidency in the field of blockchain: proper measures have been taken in this regard, including effective and constant presence in specialized working group of the country in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrency with the approach of policy-making in this field and presenting specialized reports and suggestions to the government. Without a doubt, financial and spiritual support in this field will have positive results for the country.
