Chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration believes that the economy of the country can be improved by developing national space achievements.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space and advanced transportation administration, expressed about the role of space field on the economy of the country: the national space achievements bring an economic movement and dynamism if there is an increase in the budget of this field proportional to its needs.

He continued: a part of the space achievements has a positive effect on economy and another part can play a role as a factor for economic growth in the country.

According to Manteghi, space technology is one of advanced technologies of the world and it is significantly difficult to have access to it. However, achieving these technologies can lead to many economic results in countries.

He added: our scientists have planned a part of the space area of the country which is able to both improve achievements and increase the capabilities of this field and implement the achievements in the economy of the country.
