Iran national science foundation will support 90 research projects and 10 international patent registrations of researchers of Gilan University according to an agreement made with this educational center.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, an agreement was signed between Iran national science foundation and Gilan University to support the researchers and technologists of this university. According to this agreement, 30 postdoctoral theses, 30 research projects, 30 doctoral dissertations, and 10 international patent registrations will be supported by Iran national science foundation. Signing this agreement will facilitate performing scientific projects by the researchers of this university, which will lead to taking another step toward scientific progress and meeting the needs of the country.

This agreement was signed along with the travel of Nosratollah Zargham, head of Iran national Science foundation, to Gilan University. These provincial travels are made to create topic-based justification and development of this issue among researchers of other provinces, as well as direct interaction with activists in the field of science in other provinces and promising them a better cooperation.
