West Azerbaijan is the next destination of the vice president for science and technology affairs. The trip will be made to develop the technological infrastructures of Urmia. During the trip, Sattari will attend the opening ceremony of smart city innovation center in the province.

In a gathering with the managers of Hamshahri Newspaper, the secretary of the headquarters for culture knowledge-based economy, stated: as a journalist, I am happy to witness the opening of Hamshahri Media acceleration and innovation center by one of the large media companies of the country.

With the start of the 11th government in 2013, Sattari was appointed as the vice president for science and technology affairs and was reselected for another four years after reelection of Dr. Rouhani as the president of Iran.

“Converging structures” have been formed for targeted and structural support of teams and companies active in the field of game development to direct the services allocated to this area by these companies. More than 60 companies have joined this supportive structure in 2020.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Vice-Presidency for science and technology and Iranian Cyber Police regarding joint cooperation and using the capacity of activists in the knowledge-based ecosystem in order to create an opportunity for using the abilities of activists of the ecosystem in the path of establishment of cyberspace security.

In the presence of Parviz Karami, Head of the Culture and Knowledge-Based Economy Headquarter, and Ismail Ghaderifar, Head of the Center for Strategic Technologies Development, Payam Tirandaz, CEO of Fars News Agency, and a group of managers, the Innovation Center was inaugurated. A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two sides on the sidelines of the event to further develop technology-based media collaborations

During the meeting of “economy of resistance and production leap”, the vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned: the commercialization of creative startup ideas is fruitful when these ideas are commercialized by the private sector.

TEHRAN – An Iranian knowledge-based company will supply the domestic market with the first three-cylinder euro-6 engine by the end of the current Iranian month (September 22), Sourena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology, told the Tehran Times in an interview on Saturday.

Several technological projects were opened during the provincial trip of the vice president for science and technology affairs to Ilam Province in line with the week of government. The start of several construction projects, the establishment of the province's innovation center and a factory for the production of intelligent equipment were other events of this trip.

The vice president for science and technology affairs, who traveled to Ilam Province in the week of government, emphasized the importance of developing the infrastructures and culture-building in the province to expand knowledge-based economy.
