The vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out the extraordinary capacities of Golestan Province in the field of human resources, stating: the Vice-Presidency will do its best to equip the infrastructures of Golestan province.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, emphasized the poor performance of Golestan Province in the field of knowledge-based economy during a short interview with journalists, affirming: support of innovation centers, science and technology parks, and innovation factories, as well as equipping the infrastructures of the province have been put on our agenda.

On the first part of the trip, Sattari visited Niak knowledge-based company, which is active in the field of herbal medicine and has been able to produce 50 drugs using the knowledge of domestic experts. In addition, it has been able to prevent the exit of currency from the country and even bring currency into the country by exporting herbal medicine to Asian countries.

During the trip, Sattari visited the health innovation center in the medical university of the province. This center has been established in an area of 700 m², where producing prototypes, commercialization of ideas and following up of medical-engineering products are carried out.  

In addition, Sattari visited the location of innovation factory of Gorgan and issued orders to expedite construction of Gorgan Innovation Factory. The factory will be established with the goal of attracting accelerators, startups and knowledge-based companies, and investors and holding events in line with the promotion of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship in rural, women and urban areas.

Pouyandegahe Pezeshki Pardis was another knowledge-based company hosting the vice president for science and technology affairs.

In addition, Sattari visited Kimia Pajhouhan Khavar Co. based on Gonbad Industrial Town. Moreover, he visited the innovation factory of Gonbad.
