The vice president for science and technology affairs visited the abilities and achievements of the researchers, technologists and startup activists of Shahid Beheshti University.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, visited the achievements of researchers of Shahid Beheshti University in the area of lasers, neuroptics and startups located in the growth center of technological and entrepreneurial units of science and technology park of this university.

Foundation for Development of Innovative Units by Establishing the Technology Unit of Shahid Beheshti University

Sattari also visited the innovation building (under construction) of Shahid Beheshti University. This building is one of the largest innovation buildings that will welcome technological and innovative units. In addition to two active accelerators of the university, this building lays the foundation for activities of three new accelerators in the area of cognitive and energy sciences.

Technological Projects in the Area of Brain Imaging and Cognition

The vice president for science and technology affairs visited the active technological projects of the university in its laser and photonics research center in the area of research on neurons, brain imaging and cognitive sciences.

The projects of this center can provide advanced equipment and develop the borders of knowledge by the support of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs in the area of brain imaging.

Visiting the Units Based in the Growth Center of Technological and Entrepreneurial Units

Visiting 17 technological and entrepreneurial units based in the growth center of Shahid Beheshti University was another part of visit of the vice president for science and technology affairs. The units based in this center are active in the area of agriculture and water, energy, medicinal plants, financial management, and business based on information and communication technology.

In this visit, Sattari was accompanied by Kamal Kharazi, secretary of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter, Seyed Hassan Sadough, head of Shahid Beheshti University, Parand, head of the science and technology park of the university, Salehi, head of center of macro plans, and Esmail Ghaderfar, head of strategic technologies development center.
