According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the third issue of the special journal of lasers and photonic technologies is published in 80 pages and eight sections with the cooperation of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter to cover various subjects. The main sections of the journal include the first word, interview, perspective, from science to wealth, lasers news, pioneers, guide and technology school.

Perspective

In the third section of the special journal, the issue of space tethers or laser lifts with long cables is covered, which can be used for movement, change of momentum, sustainable control and height, and maintaining the relative position of the components of sensor system of a satellite or large spaceship. With regard to the goals of mission and height of flight, use of this type of spacecraft force for space flights is significantly more cost-effective, compared to space flight using a rocket engine.

Linear particle accelerator (Linac) is another topic covered in this issue of the journal, which is a type of particle accelerator that exposes loaded particles to volatile electrical potentials in a linear path, that significantly increases the kinetic energy of subatomic particles or loaded ions. One of the outcomes of using this linear accelerator is achieving the X-ray free electron laser with a wavelength in the molecular width, which enables the imaging of molecular motions.

Moreover, the mechanism of effect of cold lasers on the body can increase the active oxygen. Cold lasers can cause the synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins, affecting the translation process as well. Use of an external photon by the laser can result in cell communication and act as a signal for continuity of the cellular process.
