The innovation ecosystem in the textile industry will be flourished
A cooperation agreement was signed between the Vice-Presidency and governorate of Yazd to establish the first specialized innovation center for textile and related industries.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, a cooperation agreement was signed between Peyman Salehi, the deputy for international affairs and technological exchange, and Mohammad Ali Talebi, the governorate of Yazd, in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, to establish the first specialized innovation center for textile and related industries in the country.
This is the first specialized center in Yazd Province, the goal of which is laying the foundation for making innovation and technology applicable in textile industry and recognition and training specialized human resources in the field.
Other goals of the agreement include laying the foundation for creating and developing the market for products in the field of textile industry and supporting the formation of new ideas and providing technical services to audiences.
The first specialized innovation center for textile and related industries will be established with the cooperation of the Vice-Presidency, governorate of Yazd, textile association, ministry of education and planning and management organization of the province in a space with an area of 1700 m2 at the location of Shahid Ebrahimi Textile Art School in Yazd province. The provisions of the MOU and the necessary arrangements for its implementation will be followed up in the form of a joint working group encompassing the representatives of the agreement’s parties.
