The first international forum of national science and technology forecasting program in automotive with the title of “The Future of the Automotive Industry; Innovations and Emerging Technologies” was held by the deputy of strategic policy assessment and evaluation.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this forum was held to evaluate the scenarios and practical solutions to enter the future of this transforming industry by the effort of the secretariat of the national science and technology forecasting program in automotive and in the presence of active beneficiaries in the policy-making institutes, activists in the automotive industry, academic figures and some of the major players of the field.

The main topics of the event, which was held with the cooperation of participants from the Segolai Co. from Italy, were “evaluation of scenarios for the Iranian automobile industry in the face of future developments in this industry”, “assessment of operational strategies for shaping the ecosystem of technology and innovation in line with the future of the automotive industry”, “evaluation of future developments in the product and process design area in the automotive industry”, and “review of the experiences of an international design and engineering company in shaping the future of the automotive industry”.

On the first international forum of future of automotive industry, speeches were made on issues of “future scenarios of automotive industry in Iran” and “technological and innovative transformations in the automotive industry (by representative of Segolai Co.). In addition, two roundtables were held with the titles of “the automotive industry in the path of future (ecosystem of technology and innovation)” and “developments in product design in the future of the automotive industry”.
