The Silk Road creative and innovation house was inaugurated; Sattari: The culture of the country is introduced to the world with the development of creative industries; Reconstruction of worn-out tissue is accelerated by creative companies
With the presence of Sorena Sattari, Vice President of Science and Technology, and Parviz Karami, Secretary of the Soft Technologies and Creative Industries Development Office of the Vice Presidency of Science and Technology, the Silk Road Creative and Innovation House began its work.
The Vice President of Science and Technology said at the reopening ceremony of the Silk Road Creative and Innovation House: "The best way to export and introduce Iranian culture and originality to the world is to develop creative industries."
The Silk Road Creative and Innovation House is an innovation and training platform with 10 creative teams and companies based on it, which takes advantage of the ideas of creative and knowledgeable people in the field of education and learning and connects them to the market.
Commercialization of the humanities is essential
Pointing out that the commercialization of the humanities in the country is a necessity, Sattari said at the ceremony: "We must take this field out of the form of libraries and publishing mere books and move towards the production of technological ideas and their commercialization." Our research must be reflected in people's daily lives.
The Vice President of Science and Technology continued: "Currently, the field of humanities is enough to just write a book." While introducing the country's culture of several thousand years and commercializing creative ideas in the field of humanities is necessary.
The Vice President of Science and Technology added: "We must direct the investments of the private sector to the humanities, especially the research formed in this field." One of the issues that have bothered me is that the research in this field remains a library and does not use this direction to develop and introduce the country's culture to the world.
Sattari continued: "Our culture is original and several thousand years old and has a great potential in the field of commercialization." For example, the field of content production or handicrafts is one of the commercialized fields of humanities that have been introduced in the world. It is the love and affection of a nation that has become a product.
The head of the Soft Technologies and Creative Industries Development Headquarters continued: "The same thing can be seen in the field of toys, audio-visual industries, and creative industries that are used daily."
Sattari added: "Creative houses are platforms for private sector investments in the field of humanities." From a small apartment, they can have their startup activity to large sizes and larger and larger startups.
The Vice President of Science and Technology also said: "Creative houses are being formed in worn-out structures and have entered and helped in the field of reconstruction of these structures." The new movement of forming creative and innovation houses in the country has been started and accelerated for 2 years. We hope that this movement will continue and that private sector investors will be encouraged to invest in the humanities
The Vice President for Science and Technology also said that the government's job in this area is to provide infrastructure. The private sector should be encouraged to invest in this sector. That is, the government should act in such a way that the private sector feels safe to invest
