According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sirous Vatankhah, secretary of energy technologies development headquarter, stated on the meeting of organization and management of sulfur recovery catalysts: there is few players in this field and only four knowledge-based companies and a main activists association, who are present in this meeting. This gathering is indicative of hope for progress in this area of the country.

Vatankhah mentioned that problems are found in all section, expressing: performing effective activities in the country is not easy for all sections. Therefore, a strong determination is required to take steps in this field. Accumulation of demand and free competition are two recommendations made in this meeting, for which the attendees provided opinions. Creation of a consortium of domestic producers during a short time can be proper solution. The headquarter will also cooperate in this regard and other fields, including amending the tenders and knowledge-based companies.

In addition, Kharat, head of the specialized gas technomart of Iran, expressed that the national gas enterprise has unified plans for support of domestic productions and catalyst production to more use the domestic ability in this area. In this regard, he affirmed: any company that is able to product catalysts must know that it will be an enterprise if it passes the desired processes.

Meeting of organization and management of sulfur recovery catalysts in the country was held to better determine the current network of the market in the Vice-Presidency by the energy technologies development headquarter, which was attended by the major players of the field. Evaluation of current mechanisms for better management of the market to maximally use the domestic power, evaluation of role of national gas company in evaluation of technical ability of domestic companies, assessment of function of knowledge-based companies in the area of provision of sulfur recovery catalysts and assessment of the mid and long-term visions in this area were among the topics discussed during the meeting.
