The fifth innovation and technology exhibition of Rabe Rashidi is opened in Tabriz with the support of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Isa Kalantari, deputy vice president, pointed out the current problems of the country, including air pollution, dunes, wastes and wetlands, some of which have been created due to lack of knowledge, in the opening ceremony of the fifth innovation and technology exhibition of Rabe Rashid in Tabriz, stating: these problems can be resolved by new technologies and there needs to be an executive determination in this path.

Kalantari regarded released trash in the north of Iran as the most important problem of this region, expressing: to solve this problem, people and all executive organizations and universities must work together.

Majid Khodabakhsh, governor of East Azerbaijan Province, affirmed on the opening ceremony of the fifth innovation and technology exhibition of Rabe Rashidi: this exhibition is an opportunity to enter the wide area of economic modifications, creation of added value, reduction of dependency and formation of occupations for graduates. 

More than one thousand and 750 projects and technologies will be introduced in the fifth innovation and technology exhibition of Rabe Rashidi, which contains three sections of technological ideas, development and commercialization of technology and sell of knowledge-based products and services.

Some of the goals of this exhibition include commercialization of technology, laying the foundation for completing the cycle of science to technology and technology to business, recognition and introduction of technological innovations and inventions and knowledge-oriented projects and ideas and presentation of research and technology abilities to make them applicable.

Creation of interactions between academics and technologists from various economic and executive sections of the country, development of regional, national and international technological collaborations, creation of a business environment for science and technology elites, attraction of investors and increase of export of knowledge-based products and services are some other purposes of the exhibition.

In total, 21 zones, specialized sections, and 28 events will be held in the fifth innovation and technology exhibition of Rabe Rashidi with an emphasis on commercialization of science and technology.

The fifth innovation and technology exhibition of Rabe Rashidi was inaugurated on Saturday at the international exhibition center of Tabriz in the presence of Saeed Sarkar, secretary of nanotechnology development headquarter, deputy vice president, head of environment protection organization, governor of East Azerbaijan Province and a number of provincial officials.

The fifth innovation and technology exhibition of Rabe Rashidi is held November 11^th-15^th, 2017 at the international exhibition center of Tabriz with the support of knowledge-based economy, technology and science development headquarter.
