The Iranian national science foundation has approved the support of 82 new research projects in its latest specialized committee meeting, so that the projects could be soon implemented.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the latest meeting of the specialized committee of the Iranian national science foundation was held, where the delivered projects of researchers to various workgroups were evaluated and support of 82 projects (including 28 post-doctoral projects) was approved. Some of the achievements of these projects include commitment to publishing of 81 ISI article title at the level of QU1, compilation of two books, six patent registration, 17 sample production, six technical knowledge, two software and construction of four devices.

The specialized committee is one of the pillars of the foundation that provides the final approval of research projects to be supported. In this regard, the research projects approved by each of the 13 workgroups of the foundation are sent to this committee to be evaluated. Support of projects of fundamental and applicable research projects is one of the activities of the Iranian national science foundation, which is announced every year with the goal of helping the progress of knowledge borders and solving fundamental issues of the country based on its scientific priorities in various scientific fields within the framework of prioritized presentation. In fact, research projects that are defined based on the needs and advantages of the country are supported by the Iranian national science foundation.
