Scientific cooperation with top scientists of the Islamic world will increase

The Mustafa Foundation has created opportunities in the form of voluntary cooperation to improve the relations between young researchers and students of the country with top scientists of the Islamic world.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the Mustafa Foundation has aimed to implement the program of creating voluntary cooperation opportunities in the week of granting the Mustafa Prize to improve the relations between young researchers and students of the country with top scientists of the Islamic world.

Areas of cooperation in the project include the opportunity to engage with leading scientists in accompanied with foreign guests, participate in media activities and coverage of this international event, and collaborate on the Mustafa Prize Week of Science and Technology events. Candidates must have a postgraduate degree, fluency in either English, Arabic or French, and be at least 22 years.

The eligible individuals are encouraged to announce their preparedness through completing the form on the website of step.mstfdn.org until September 21st 2019.

One of the events of this week is the science and technology exchange program (STEP), implemented to create a space for interaction between scientists and experts of Islamic countries.

In addition to establishing science and technology discourse and expanding the network of scientists’ relations in the Islamic world, the project lays the foundation for synergy and development of scientific cooperation, laying the groundwork for development of scientific and technological activities in member countries.

The sixth STEP meeting will be held November 9th-12th, 2019 in IRIB, Tehran, Alzahra, Imam Sadegh and Sharif Universities in the presence of more than 100 top scientists, authorities and activists of the science and technology fields from different countries, focusing on different topics of health, water and energy, science communication, women and science and technology, and financial supply of science and technology.

According to this document, Sorena Sattari (the vice president for science and technology affairs) is the head of the policy-making council and Mahdi Safarinia (head of Pardis Technology Park) is the secretary of the policy-making council of the prize.
