Programs of the Week of Presenting the Awards of the Second Mustafa Prize Is Announced

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the week of presenting the awards of the second Mustafa Prize, known as the high sign of science and technology in the Islamic world, is initiated by STEP symposiums (meetings to exchange scientific and technological experiences). In this meeting, the achievements and prominent works of scholars in the Islamic world are introduced. 

The specialized meetings of this event will be performed in areas of information and technology science, biotechnology and medicine, nano technology, and economy and Islamic banking on December 2nd 2017 in universities of Tehran, Sharif, Shahid Beheshti, medical sciences, Imam Sadegh and Tarbiat Modares and on December 4th 2017 in universities of Tehran and Iran science and industry.

In addition, a meeting will be held in Ferdowsi Hotel on December 3rd 2017 to familiarize the investors with achievements of scholars in the Islamic world.

KANS forums in areas of health, energy, environment, information and communication technology, and economy and Islamic banking will also be held December 4th 2017 in universities of Sharif, Shahid Beheshti and medical sciences.

Scientific lectures of this week in the areas of information and communication technology, biotechnology and medicine and nano technology will be held on December 4th 2017 in universities of Isfahan, Industrial Isfahan and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.

The first round of the Mustafa Prize was given to the prominent scholars of the Islamic world from Singapore and Jordan in the presence of scholars from more than 25 countries. This was such a big news that was covered by more than 300 news agencies and valid scientific journals of the world.

Given the fact that the judging process of the event is finished, the second round of the Mustafa Prize will be held in the Vahdat Hall of Tehran on December 3rd 2017 in the presence of prominent figures in the science and technology areas of the Islamic world. This prize is given to the top scholars and researchers of the Islamic world every two years. By recognizing, introducing and appreciating the bests of science and technology in the Islamic world, the Mustafa Prize has aimed to promote science and research in Islamic societies. According to the executive document of the Mustafa Prize, Sorena Sattari (vice president for science and technology affairs) and Mahdi Safarinia (head of Pardis technology park) are selected as the head and secretary of the policy-making council of the event.

The second round of the Mustafa Prize will be held in the Vahdat Hall of Tehran on December 3rd 2017 in the presence of prominent figures in the areas of science and technology in the Islamic world.
