Chairman of Iran national space administration stated: the administration will constantly support the domestic production of software in the space industry with serious follow ups.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, pointed out the slogan of this year on the support of Iranian products and services, expressing: one of the most important goals determined in the administration is support of production of local software in the space industry. This year, this issue will be followed up more seriously.

He added: for instance, one of the software produced in the country is “production of the first national open-content software of fluid aerodynamic analysis using the capacity of the elites”, which is designed by Imam Hossein Comprehensive University and is fully supported by the administration.

According to Manteghi, support of production of domestic software will lead to job creation in the country and prevents brain drain, improving the conditions for activities of talented individuals in the country.

He continued: recognition of software abilities and needs is also followed up by the headquarter. In this regard, “designing skills to teach specialized human resources”, “integration of the current hardware capacities”, and “meeting the needs and recognizing the required software and hardware infrastructures” are among the priorities of the administration.
