Establishment of the standards required for entering bio-products into the market will be evaluated by the bio-economy working group of the biotechnology development headquarter.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the bio-economy working group of the biotechnology development headquarter has been established in line with achieving the strategic goals of the headquarter to grow and improve the economy based on bio-products and services of the country within the framework of strategies and policies approved by the biotechnology development headquarter and in line with the biotechnology roadmap of the country.

Among the responsibilities of this working group are recognizing the pathology and planning for completing the establishment of standards required for biotechnology products in compliance with entering the market and producing support and insensitive mechanism packages in order to support the entrance of bio-products to the market (government subsidies, correction of tax system, providing governmental tariffs). In addition, the working group is responsible for designing a virtual bio-economy network and the information infrastructures for biotechnology products of the world.

In addition, solutions to use the international capacities for development of bio-economy and export of new products (with the cooperation of the working group of expert for eliminating the possible defects) and review of the literature to recognize the new areas that can be entered are among the other duties defined for the working group.
