According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Amir Ali Hamidieh, secretary of stem cells technologies development headquarter, stated during the visit of booth of stem cells research center in the fourth exhibition of technomart and research and technology achievements of Alborz Province: achievements presented by students in this exhibition are indicative of their great abilities and enthusiasm in the new sciences area. Moreover, proper capacities of Alborz Province in the area of stem cells and regenerative medicine will soon turn this province into the commercialization pole of this field.

He also hoped for more flourishing of the talents of students in the area of stem cells and regenerative medicine, expressing: inauguration of the first student research center of stem cells and regenerative medicine in Karaj has led to a significant growth of research activities of students in this area.

Secretary of stem cells technologies and sciences development headquarter mentioned the growing development of technology in the stem cells field over the past three years in the country, and especially in Alborz Province, explaining: this growth is due to special attention of authorities to the support of executive and cultural organizations, such as ministry of education and scientific and academic centers.

Hamidieh also expressed his content with development of research in schools of the country, asserting: given the fact that our future will be formed by students of today, special attention must be paid to the development of research and technology among students.

He also marked: today, our country witnesses the abilities of Iranian students eager to learn about science and technology at an international level.

The secretary of the headquarter added at the end: Iranians are globally famous in performing scientific tasks. Today, our country has been able to treat untreatable diseases by relying on science.

In total, 20,600 students have visited the fourth exhibition of technomart and research and technology achievements of Alborz Province, and more than 6000 students participated in educational workshops of the secretariat with the title of stem cells and regenerative medicine.
