Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, inaugurated Makran science and technology with, aiming at improving the ecosystem of technology and innovation in the region and investing in new businesses and startups and supporting the technological youth.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, along with his accompanied delegation, entered Chabahar this morning with the goal of improving the ecosystem of technology and innovation of the region and was welcomed by the governor and high-ranking authorities of Sistan and Baluchestan province.

On the first part of this one-day trip, Sattari visited Port Konarak.

He also visited the Makran steel direct revival project and assessed the advancements of the project in-person.

Visiting the Makran petrochemical complex with the goal of creating the third hub of petrochemical industry of the country in a place with 1200-hectar area is the second plan of the caravan of science and technology. This project was formed with the goal of developing the petrochemical industry by exploiting the knowledge of domestic experts and localization of products, thereby considering job formation in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

During this one-day trip, the president of the national elites foundation opened Makran science and technology park, which is formed to promote and develop the innovation culture in universities and create new businesses and startups and support technological youth. Utilizing the region"s indigenous capacities and facilitating and accelerating its cooperation in attracting domestic and foreign investment are other goals of the science and technology park.

Visiting knowledge-based companies based in the park and unveiling the online hospital project with the goal of online communication and video visit of patients and drug prescription were carried out. In addition, inauguration of the education and content production center for computer games and animations is another program of the head of the soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter.

Visiting the marine sciences university of Chabahar and assessing the achievements of researchers of this university in the field of sun panel and desalination machine and meeting with Hojatoleslam Mousavi, the Friday Imam of Chabahar, are other programs of this trip.

The final part of this travel is visiting Shahid Beheshti Port and Tohfe Co.
