During the one-day trip of the vice president for science and technology affairs to Semnan, Kiani Technology Park will be inaugurated with the goal of development of innovation culture and growth of knowledge-based companies.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs, entered Semnan and was welcomed by higher authorities to flourish the innovation ecosystem in this region.

The first part of the trip was visiting Safi Ara Co., which relies on the abilities of domestic experts to produce filter cellulose sheets that meet the needs of the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. This company has been able to take an important step toward the localization of products. Another company hosting Sattari and his delegation was Dorsa Pump & Compressor Company.

The president of the national elites foundation also attended the opening ceremony of Kiani Technology Pardis.

During this provincial trip, Sorena Sattari will meet Ayatollah Seyed Mohammad Shahcheraghi, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Semnan. In addition, he will meet Tajiran Co., which has been able to domesticize the technology of thermal insulation that were formerly imported from other countries with the help of domestic experts.

Sattari will also visit Petro Sazeh Beinolmelal Aram Co. (IPS), which is active in the field of design, supply and construction of refinery and petrochemical equipment and has been able to take steps toward self-efficacy and domestication of products by relying on the knowledge of domestic experts. Hamgarayan Co. is another host of Sattari during this trip.

The final part of the trip is administrative meeting on development of knowledge-based economy and production.
