According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Jamal Shams, secretary of the clinical section of the sixth basic and clinical neuroscience congress, regarded the improvement of quality of life of people, enhancement of treatment of diseases and optimal use of advanced technologies in the field of medicine and development of new technologies as the goals of holding this science and research congress in Tehran.
Professor of Shahid Beheshti University of Medicine pointed out the scientific rank of Iran in the fields of medical and cognitive sciences, stating: scientific productions in the country is one of the indicators of progress and development, which can develop the opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experience between researchers in various fields using scientific knowledge and findings.
Secretary of the clinical section of the event emphasized the support of science development by the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and other research centers, adding: with the use of scientific products inside the country and development of advanced technologies, the necessary opportunities for localization of technologies and decrease of dependencies will be provided. In addition, the foundation will be laid for improvement of quality of life of people, helping the treatment of diseases and effective use of new technologies applying domestic knowledge.
According to Shams, a number of experts and researcher of valid science centers outside the country regarded the sixth basic and clinical neuroscience congress as a suitable opportunity for exchanging experiences and research findings with Iranian professors and beneficiaries of neuroscience profession, reminding: sharing scientific findings and transferring knowledge and experience will lead to the development of scientific and research activities between the two parties.
Shams also asserted: the foreign experts participating in this congress are active in various cognitive science areas, especially the neuroscience field. In the sixth congress of neuroscience, methods to treat psychological diseases and use of new technologies for rehabilitation of patients will be evaluated and discussed.
The sixth basic and clinical neuroscience congress will be held December 20th-23rd, 2017 in Razi international congress center of Tehran with the support of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.
