Meeting of roadmap for spatial development of the country was held in the presence of representatives of relevant organizations and custodians of this area.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first meeting on roadmap of development of spatial program of the country was held in the presence of Morteza Barari, head of space agency, Manouchehr Manteghi, chairman of Iran national space administration, and other custodians and experts of the field in universities, scientific centers, schools and executive organizations.

In this meeting, there was an emphasis on interaction and synergy between relevant organizations regarding the preparation of roadmap for spatial development in the country according to high-level documents with the cooperation of all players and activists of the field.

In addition, complete consolidation and development of chain of value in the spatial domain, development of newly emerged businesses in the area of basic space, export of technology and presence in the untapped market of the area, attraction of investment by the private sector and effective and active presence in international gatherings are among the issues evaluated in the meeting.

In this meeting, peaceful use of space to increase national dignity, improvement of the quality of life of people, enhancement of science and knowledge in the country and making progress in space area were among the subjects emphasized in this meeting.

Compilation of roadmap for spatial development of the country was another issue discussed in this meeting, which is an effective step toward the creation of synergy in the space section of the country. In addition, performing actions based on this roadmap is a positive step toward the realization of sustainable development goals in space region of the country.
