Holding the fall school of neurology in Mashhad
The fall school of neurology will be held in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad with the support of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter.
According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, this educational and research act is carried out with the aim of introducing the principles of various technologies for brain data recording, such as fMRI, fNIRS and EEG, and learning about data analysis methods obtained from the mentioned techniques. During the five days of this event, which will be held December 9th-13th, 2017, professors and students in fields of medical engineering, sciences, psychology, medicine and other academic fields will express their opinions and research achievements in the area of brain and neurosciences.
In addition, growth and pathology of the brain (from infantry to adolescence), creating and developing a multi-modal brain atlas, understanding and working with statistical methods of brain data processing, familiarity with the application of technologies in the field of recognition of brain-language, brain-music relationship and understanding and working with the method of analyzing and interpreting of information are other goals of this fall school. In this year’s round of the school, which will be held in the engineering faculty of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, professor Wallios from research group of insern u1105 from France will attend the school. Moreover, this fall school will be held to improve the level of science and research in the area of brain and neurosciences, orientation of medical engineering (bioelectric) of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad with the help of cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter. Other sponsors of the event are Khajeh Nasir University of Technology, Shiraz University and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
