The first biotech start school with the topic of “microbial business” was held in the innovation center of Alzahra University to support female students and teach about entrepreneurship and commercialization in the area of biotechnology.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the first biotech start school with the topic of “microbial business” was held November 14^th 2017 with the cooperation of Alzahra University and Sadra Mehr biotechnology and science institute.

Participants of this competition will compete in four groups from various sections of Tehran and other cities. In addition, their work will be judged in areas of idea making, design and creation of a business ecosystem in the form of various microbial topics, logo design and packaging and presentation and commercialization of products.

Sadra Mehr institute of biotechnology and sciences has aimed to develop and implement student activities related to biotechnology with the support of biotechnology development headquarter and ministry of education.
