According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the event of fashion and technology startup is a promotional and educational event. During this two and a half day event, about 50-100 students, elites and enthusiasts and idea owners will gather to discuss the startup and entrepreneurial topics in the area of texture and clothing design and related technologies.

Participants of the event will share their creative plans and ideas and practically learn about networking and team making, entrepreneurial skills and the process of implementing an idea to business and establishment of a new startup in order to develop their innovative ideas with the counseling and supervision of expert instructors of the event.

In this event, counselor and instructors with expertise in business, information technology, fashion, texture and clothing design, graphics and computer and entrepreneurship will be present to provide specialized counseling and educational services for participants. At the end, three teams and best ideas will be introduced.

The second startup event of “fashion and technology” will be held on topics of original Iranian-Islamic design, branding, marketing of strengthening the sales of designs taken from Iranian-Islamic designs, innovation in design and production of clothing accessories, and role of information and communication technology in clothing industry.

The main goal of holding this event is creating a foundation for attraction and presentation of innovative ideas by students, academics, entrepreneurs and idea owners in the area of design, art and fashion.

In addition to rewarding the top teams and ideas with financial prizes, they will be prioritized to evaluate the possibility of their recruit by growth, flourishing and creativity centers of organization of technology commercialization and employment of graduates of Jihad University and start of their new businesses, providing support and commercialization services, and counseling and preparing the attracting of investors.

The second startup event of “Fashion and Technology” will be held in Tourani Hall of Alzahra University December 13^th-15^th, 2017 with the support of soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter.
