According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, the seminar on familiarization with the domain of cognitive science studies will be held with the cooperation of Kharazmi University and support of cognitive technologies and sciences development headquarter in order to promote and teach cognitive sciences and invite researchers and professors to present their research projects.

Ramezan Barkhordari, executive secretary of the event, stated: development of education and promotion of cognitive sciences and transfer of cognitive science findings at the education level and educational sciences are some of the goals of this seminar, which will be held December 16^th 2017 at Literature and Humanities School of Kharazmi University of Tehran.

He continued: during this scientific and educational meeting, the supportive policies of the cognitive technologies and sciences development headquarter in areas of education, research and promotion, and support of professors and researchers will be designed and presented.

Secretary of the seminar also expressed: one of the topics of cognitive sciences related to “mind philosophy” with the title of neurophenomenology and the horizons of learning research is one of the domains of cognitive science studies, which is evaluated in this event. We hope that the foundation for promotion and education of cognitive sciences will be laid by cooperation of students, researchers and professors at science and academic centers. In addition, the infrastructure for more expansion of cognitive science areas in educational environments of the country will be provided.

In addition, Mahmoud Talkhabi, faculty member of the cognitive science rsearch center, who is going to evaluate the research opportunities in the joint domain of cognitive sciences and education in this one-day seminar, affirmed: according to the needs assessment and perspective of experts, research orientation with cognitive approach in the education area is recognized as a priority.

Mohammad Hossein Maghami, faculty member of Shahid Rajaei University, asserted: in the seminar of familiarization with the domain of cognitive science studies, the international activities of the headquarter, such as research and science cooperation between Iran and Brazil and indicative designs in the fields of neuroscience and technology, will be described to the participants.

Maghami also conveyed: in addition, the necessary information about the supportive activities of the cognitive science headquarter, such as final theses, articles, research and education projects, and holding relevant workshops, will be provided for the participants.
