The secretary of biotechnology development headquarter stated: the bio-fertilizers produced in Iran will be exported to Africa.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, it is decided based on agreements with African countries that active knowledge-based companies export their products in the field of biotechnology and agriculture to these countries.

He added: occupation, economy and products in Africa are based on agriculture. Therefore, a cooperation agreement has been signed in the continent of Africa to create the proper foundation for activities of knowledge-based companies of Iran in the field of agriculture.

Ghanei mentioned that the biotechnology development headquarter is the custodian of biotechnology of Iran which supports the companies of this field in Africa. In this regard, he added: the headquarter has aimed to provide the foundation for permanent presence of Iranian knowledge-based biotechnology companies in the field of agriculture through creating agricultural landscapes and proportional spaces.

He continued: in addition, laying the groundwork for export of knowledge-based companies of Iran and preferring the agricultural biotechnology in Uganda through introducing the method of bio-agriculture are among the duties of the biotechnology development headquarter set in the agreement.

Emphasizing the provision of foundation for transfer of technical knowledge and technology transfer contracts between Iran and Uganda in the area of biotechnology agriculture, Ghanei asserted: we have aimed to provide the foundation for developing cooperation between the two countries.

He emphasized that bio-fertilizers are a product that can have a proper market in Africa. In this respect, he explained: this products has been greatly welcomed and it is decided to export these products, which have been established by a knowledge-based company.
