On the ceremony to unveil the first export hub of digital content, the president of Iran national innovation fund stated: we must dedicate extensive efforts to the development of domestic productions and export of digital content with the help of the capable and creative youth of Iran.

According to the public relations and information center of the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs, Ali Vahdat, the president of Iran national innovation fund, expressed: a proper foundation is laid for export of digital content from the country. With regard to the existing capabilities, the foundation provided for export development must use the capabilities of the youth to enter global markets.

Mahdi Mohammadi, the president of Iran national innovation fund, criticized the improper growth of software industry in the country, affirming: Software development in Iran has not yet matured and we do not have a large market in this industry.

He continued: according to the statistics of Café Bazar, there are 22,000 applications in the country, 130 of which are available on café Bazar. In addition, 30 thousand online games have been produced, which have only registered 250 billion tomans of economic activity in the country.

In addition, Mohammad Hossein Sajadi Nayeri, secretary of soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter marked: one of the concerns of the headquarter has been the development of digital content and creative industries. The formation of an export hub of digital content is related to this area of concerns.

He added: the Vice-Presidency has implemented a program entitled the development of ecosystem for creative companies, which is in line with the program of support of knowledge-based companies. The main goal of this plan is helping creative companies shorten the path of their progress and increase pace of entering the market.

In addition, export hub of digital content of the country will be unveiled by the support of knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter, the soft and identity-making technologies development headquarter, and Iran national science fund.
